Fire Truck at the Fire Department

The Chagrin Valley Fire Department ("Suburban Department") was founded in 1897 and provides lifesaving services the communities of Bentleyville, Chagrin Falls Village, Chagrin Falls Township, Hunting Valley, Moreland Hills and South Russell. The department covers a 32 square mile response area, serving a population of approximately 13,000 residents.

The department is a non-profit corporation, funded through the general fund of the Village of Chagrin Falls with staff including the Fire Chief and Fire Marshall.
