Mayor Brick formed an ad hoc advisory committee in 2006 for the purpose of addressing issues facing seniors who reside in the Village of Chagrin Falls. A survey was created and sent to all residents who receive a water bill. Those residents who are over the age of 55 were asked to respond.
The committee members and the Village administration have begun to develop approaches to the interests and concerns expressed. The snow shoveling pilot program is one early result of this effort.
This section of the new website will be used to report as rapidly as possible on additional developments and other topics of interest to seniors.
The committee extends its sincere thanks to all Chagrin Falls seniors who participated in the survey, and to the many members of the community who have been—and many who still are—assisting in this effort.
