The meeting was called to order at 7:40 p.m. by Chairman Richard Subel.

2009 EMPLOYEE HEATH CARE

Mr. Subel said this is a renewal of the current medical plan for the employees with Anthem BC/BS. It is approximately a 13 ½% increase from last year. It originally came in at a 30 ½% increase, which would be about $80,000 per year, but after a lot of hard work Mr. Bloom and Mr. Schinagle were able to get it reduced to the 13 ½%.

Mr. Schinagle recommended that the Committee accept this renewal, as is, due to the time frame and due to the fact that any increase under 15% is considered good.

Moved by Mr. Milko, seconded by Mr. Williams that we accept the Anthem renewal at the 13 ½% increase effective March 1, 2009 and some time soon start looking at alternatives for the long-term because of the raising cost of health care. The motion carried unanimously.
